Aseptic Meningitis with Lamictal

I'm on it now and have some of these symptoms.

I took this drug and got severe pangretis. I was so sick. I was hospitalize for 5 days with a tube down my nose to my stomach. This drug is on my allergy list needless to say. I think they should pull this drug off the counter if this is what patients are going to be experiencing. FDA wake up!!!!!

Stillill is right. Your talking 40 cases. howmany people do you think are taking lamictal as we speak? Thousands upon thousands. Mosquitos cause meningitis where I live. In far greater numbers. It's not going to prevent me from going outside.

I think we don't want to overeact to this. I'm sure it's isolated and if it were a recurring event, they would pull it off the market before the manufacturer knew what hit them. There's always the odd case here and there.
