OCD and extreme anxiety attacks at time. Paired with insomnia, I find myself scrubbing my clean house in the middle of the night ;-) Guess there are worse ways to life out your "insanities" ;-)

Not officially OCD but I would say so. Definitly on the anxiety front

An echoey mind (best way to describe it) super bad anxiety, depression, memory issues, feeling flat and unreal, more recently agitation and tendencies toward aggressive thinking.

Extreme anxiety, bizarre and aggressive thoughts, suicidal thoughts when depressed, crying spells, cycling rapidly through moods, sometimes up to 6 times in one day. Most of these don't happen with the right medication. My most recurrent thought is the urge to spit in people's faces. My ARNP says it's an OCD thing.

I also suffer from OCD intrusive thoughts

I have extreme anxiety. And over stupid things and situations LOL. And OCD is a definite as well. I seperate colored/flavored candies and only eat them by twos, not mixing colors or flavors, I will only turn the volume up to an even number, I can't Handel clutter, things must be straight on the fridge, I organize everything. I will spend hours organizing cupboards after my husband puts things away LOL. Oh and the list can go on.

I get anxiety on occasion, but workout a lot to maintain. OCD is for certain

I'm guessing you have a touching or habit routine as well? Mine is touching my two high tops, and end of my tv every morning I leave before work. Such a weird habit… Lol

Mine a clean organized house and double checking the locks. In my childhood idd chew my thumbs till raw.

Yes I have both and am the OCD is poked at quite a bit because it's not on all areas if my life nor is it problematic to the point of diagnosis. All things must be in their place to aid my anxiety but I can't hit the ashtray or finish a can if soda to save my soul. There are Dt. Dr. Pepper cans half finished all over my room and I move about them blindly but don't touch my purse, my closet or any other items cuz that's a death wish. It makes sense why OCD and anxiety go hand in hand. That's why I retreat to my closet.

Both separate illnesses go hand in hand with me and I know what you mean. Although, my room would be filled with Coke cans rather then Dr. Pepper. I love coca cola!

Hi Nagatha. Yes this is true. But I consider hurry go seek with psychiatrist I already done my MRI Brain scan found nothing it's ok with my brain but I have no idea how come. I suffer this bipolar without knowing for 28 years. I am born deaf 100%. Do u mind I m deaf. Hope u dun mind. Thank u for tell me the truth this is too nice of u.

You're welcome. I bet you read a lot. Get the manual "take charge of Bipolar Disorder" written by Julie A fast and John preston. This gives answers to all your questions. It has a diagnostic portion, highlighted areas on each page for friends and family to read so they can understand and be supportive to your needs and what they can and expect from you. You'll need supportive groups and people for this illness. Also each page is written for the purpose of supporting you and teaching you how to manage the illness. You'll use this easy understanding and comprehendible manual as you go through life. Its a therapeutic manual.. It teaches you about this illness and knowledge is the key for survival. Its so much more then what I've told you. Get the book!!!! I to didn't know I had bipolar 1 my whole life span until three years ago. Im 48.

I also bad memory sometime I become very forgetful. But this is good news to me. I stay happy. I have bipolar disorder but which symptom I don't know I never been in hospital or therapy I only found out in past 2 months time. I only seek counsel. I found this app very helpful n thoughtful.

Bipolar causes memory loss and so do anti-psychotics and mood stabilizers according to my neurologist and psychiatrist.

I was told thus also.I was also told each episode causes brain damage, so if you get migraines…sob.it must be minimal but accounts for the memory loss apparently

Yah mines been diagnosed. You should ask Dr and tell him/her about your symptoms.

Yes I have an extremely serious form of anxiety. OCD… There is multiple types. I am by no means organized and clean at home BUT i do have OCD thoughts where I repeatedly think the same negative thoughts over an over until it causes me anxiety or i start to think these blown up imaginative thoughts are real.

Do you answer back? Its so weird when this phenomenon happens. Voices out of nowhere and when least expected. Through out my life, I thought I was psychic but after being diagnosed with bipolar type 1, I found out I was just psyco! Im really neither, I'm Bipolar with many sympoms.

Meds helps and therapy:). But I have had all those symptoms

Be careful. Those benzos can be truly addicting.

Oh really? Lol. My psych told me if I miss a dose then i would have a seizure. That let me know I need to ween down and only use them as needed. Thanks for saving me anyways. Others may learn by reading this:)

Seems many have the same even though they are two different diagnoses, they seem to coincide.

I do have anxiety, minor OCD. Interesting enough my pdoc told me I have PTSD (I've always been told that). Anxiety and major startle reflex. From bad childhood. Then she told me I have a mix of ADD inattentive type..they all commingle. I didn't realize that have all these sub categories now. OCD is small quirks about placement of things and if I'm up in mood
