OT--I got my pumpkins!!

I heart Halloween!! It's one of the fun holidays that we can be anyone we want! This year I'm staying at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tampa but I still got my pumpkins!!
I got them today and looking at what they could be. I'm kind of obsessed with craving pumpkins because its so much fun and the candle in the pumpkin is better then any icing on the cake!!
I know I'm not the only one carving pumpkins this year. So what's your ideas? Carve, paint, just leave alone? I am not sure what they want to be so let us hear your pumpkin carving stories!!

daisychain October 18 at 8:28 am1 LikeMine is a not so good one. i, with the help from my kids, calved out faces on the pumpkins having hollowed them out. Then we put them ouside next to the front door. Within two days they were full of maggots. Thanks to south Florida weather! We keep them inside now. I love eating anything pumkiny especially a spiced pumpkin latte mmm

bipolar lamb October 18 at 7:17 am1 LikeDuring the tough growing season, I managed to get one Jack O Lantern pumpkin. It's not very big though. It's just sitting out front, uncarved and plain looking. But I'm very very proud of that pumpkin! I grew it all by myself:-)

Nurses1 October 18 at 7:06 am1 LikeWe carve and paint ours. I find if you paint them they last longer and with a child that likes to smash icky pumpkins I prefer the paint( I can usually move them before he smashes them).

Oooo Phy pumpkin chunkin is super cool!! I know I've watched 2 yrs in a row but not sure how long its been around!
I'm undecided and I actually got decent pumpkins from Walmart for $3.50 a pc. I've done cats and witches. Creepy guy with cat and a spider once. Hey and of course the good ole free hand anything goes jack-o-lantern!!
My pumpkins haven't spooken me so I figured the every so creative BPDC members have plenty of ideas.
