Fits, Tantrums, Rage!
Call it what you want, but I do it!
The Triggers are for me: being overwhelmed, pressure, demands, disappointments, let downs, being ignored, treated like an idiot, and NOT being validated!! These all hurt and I wanna hurt myself or the person doing it.
Ah, but I found myself a solution, YEAH!
I don't like to journal, but I got a note book where I can pull the pages out and destroy them when I'm through.
I call this my RAGE book!
Every time I experience the afore mentioned. I grab my RAGE book and scribble down what I want to say to that person! I cuss and scream and dump it on the paper. Usually I write so hard or scribble so angrily! That I jam the pen into the paper, but it feels, oh so good! And I am not bothering people to listen to my latest outrage. I'm not hurting myself or screaming in someone's face unless I'm in public or driving. I have wreaked my car. Broken electronics and hurt people's feelings. If I can't get to the book, I try to stay in control, but there is no guarantee. It sure helps though.
And I look like such a civil woman.. LoL
This my homemade remedy for rage!
