Sex addiction

Idk what it is. My sex drive actually increase when I'm depress and being manic. I found someone that really satisfy me, but I don't have her anymore and it's driving me crazy. I'm not one to sleep around, but I have been and it really sucks because I'm not that kind of person. I think I could be a sex addict. I feel like my spirit doesn't want just one girl to love, but if my partner only wants me and no one else, I need them to be attached to me and be around me all the time. If they aren't it makes my life so hard and stressful. Sex has been very important to me. It's almost a way to express myself. I truly miss my ex, but we're not good for each other. I wish my sex drive could decrease. Are there meds to control this? I do see that I have attachment and control issues. Maybe my sex drive was high because she wasn't around me much and I've been stressing because she seemed to be cheating, I'm actually sure of it. She's a really good lier and would make you feel like a dumb ass, just to secure her lies. Idk, I just wonder if there are pills to help balance out my sex drive.

No you dont have a prob. U just like what makes u feel good buf dont go wallin ouf lol u knoe just find that someone who likes it just as much as u so that person can make u yell lets break lol

When I'm depressed I like to argue with my husband and get into fights… I the get hot dieting these fights and always end up wanting sex!!!! My anger turns to horny!!! As a teen before I met my husband I had alot of partners, because I could not get enough sex!!!! It was my drug along with drugs!!! With my husband sex is great!!! But in the past 12 years I've cheered at least three times and it's been loneliness, lack of attention or boredom that led me to cheat!!! Sites I believe I to may be a sex addict!!! I've been master-bating since I was at least 5yrs old and I do it quit frequently!!!! Sex is my drug of choice and always has been… The chemicals I think we give off during that time make the depression get pushed back. So we fight our depression with sex!!!! Just how I feel about it!!!

Yea manicprincess I here u I suffer with an anger sex problem to wen my boyfriend n I argue I start to masterbate while we argue he really gets freaked out but he lovez me he doesnt give me the attention I want at that time he says he would be taking advantGe of my ilness so we get it n the next day

But would you want it then, even if he feels like its not right? Maybe what you want is better in this case??

Must be a bp thing. Been researching recently and all the neurotransmitters that are involved in bp and depression are also involved in sex and arousal. Dopamine for desire and with me having ADHD I get prescription 'dopamine' by the bucket load. Too much sex can lead to serotonin levels depleting. Personally if I have lots of sex I feel lousy afterwards…anxious, irritable etc and the best way to deal with it is more arousal and more happy chemicals being released and then a vicious circle.

Not so much an issue now that I'm taking medication..but in the past YES. Super bad..or super good.however u want to look at it! Makes it really hard when ur in a relationship and you want to bang every guy or girl u meet..lol

Sex is one thing that I know for sure that I'm good at although it causes a lot of stalkers in my life… But Growing up i was always told to do what your good at

I have problems with sexual addiction. It has almost ruined my current relationship with my boyfriend. It's awful and it is constant.

Your Probably not being Satisfied about 70% of woman are not your boyfriend need to learn the tricks it's very easy?

I think about it a lot, but don't act on it. I try to push it out of my head. I guess I do a pretty good job with that, considering I feel like a born again virgin. Lol. It's been almost a year with absolutely nothing. I have opportunities though. For some reason I don't act on it. I like to have feelings for the guy and I don't like anyone right now. I don't want to like a guy now either. I don't want a relationship. I guess it's hard for me to separate the two.

So I guess it's a bp sort of thing then? A bp side affect?

I am in treatment now for sex addiction. It took me a long time to come to terms that I was even a sex addict. i thought I was just a red blooded American human being that loved to get down. Turns out that my situation was serious enough to have to seek help. Thankfully I wasn't stupid and stayed safe, but that doesn't excuse the fact that I really needed to put myself in check.

I'm the same macy. Horny 24/7. Even after hours of sex I could go on to masturbate some more. I can never get enough, and sometimes it's like the more I get the more I want like feeding some sordid addiction.. Let's just say I should get shares in a battery company lol

I gave up on batteries. Bout one that just plugs into the wall, lol.

I totally relate Macy. I'm insatiable! I don't know why other than it being a symptom of my bp. It makes being in a relationship very difficult sometimes.

What if the guy you're with is just as insatiable? Would that make being in a relationship easier??

Yes. I think its a BP thing. I am I sex AA right now because of my addiction. My addiction. Is so bad I go off and have affairs. And I'm 42 so you don't grow out of it, it actually gets worse. My sex drive has increased as I got older. I think sex addiction and BP are very much connected.

I wasn't always like this though. I mean, I've always had a pretty high sex drive, but after 35 it just got stronger and stronger. I'm 37 now and I'm always running a little hot! That is why I get so "distracted" with my "vice" ;-)

I remember way back watching an Oprah Show. The sex subject with Dr. Oz. subject was on. two things I remember. If you have sex often, you will look younger when older. Also for men, I learned from that show the prostate remains healthy with having sex regularly.
